If you spend any time looking through the gallery on my site, you’ve probably noticed that several of the galleries contain 3D photos. They are anaglyphic 3D meaning you’ll need the oldschool red/cyan 3D glasses to get the effect. A few of the galleries only have the anaglyphic photos, but I’ve decided that for the sake of those who have not gotten a pair of 3D glasses or don’t have any laying around, from now on I’ll be uploading the 2D as well as 3D photos. There will also be some 3D video posted from time to time. You will be able to find the 3D videos here on my site as well as on my youtube channel.
The photos from Power Surge 3 (the rave at stratus in Phoenix) are now posted in the gallery (there are 2D and 3D versions!!!)

So stuff has been really busy lately and everything is coming at me a mile a minute. The trip to Ohio was awesome. Candy Kids was a lot of fun, and the vibe was massive. The ohio scene seems to be just now getting back on it’s feet, and it definitely has an innocence about it that has yet to be corrupted. The sound and lights were a little minimal compared to what Arizona has going on most weekends, but it was enough to get the point across. It was very nifty to see the kids jammin out with my toys… a lot of kids commented on having never seen anything like them in ohio.. that warmed my heart. So, get out your red/cyan 3D glasses because all the photos I took at Candy Kids were in anaglyphic 3D!!! Maybe I’ll get around to separating them and posting the 2D images too… maybe… Major thanks to Eklyps for having us out and being such an awesome host/promoter. I really look forward to working with you again man… You’ve got great things going out there… Maybe we can collaborate on an event sometime!
Tonight is the night… this event is being held in a FULLY OPERATIONAL haunted house. That means the spooks, the ghosts, and the booms and bangs will be in full effect!! It is locate on the northwest corner of I17 and Bell. In the same plaza as the movie theater. The event starts at 8PM. Make sure you get there EARLY. I am doing my second suspension at 8 on the dot. The event is at the north west corner of I17 and bell. Go west of I17 on bell road and enter the movie theater parking lot. It’s on the west side of the complex.

So we just upgraded to Cox “Premier Plus” internet tier. Our DCM-202 modem had been placed on cox’s “retired” list and without warning stopped working. So I went out and bought a DOCSIS 3.0 compliant cable modem and ordered the upgrade… The results below speak for themselves. I’ve always been content with Cox high speed cable internet… now I’m ecstatic.
I guess I’m famous on the internet… or something like that. I keep finding pictures of myself popping up here and there, but now there’s a lot of pictures of my tattoos over at somethingawful. At least they’ve had nice stuff to say about me…

I’ve worked with this guy as well. Strange mother fucker but as dAPER said he’s nicest person I’ve ever met and that includes my grandmother. He doesn’t drink but will always pay for your group’s post-bar Denny’s tab if he’s tagging along. He also enjoys stunt motorcycle riding as well. About the only downside to knowing Brandon is don’t EVER click on a link he IM’s you or watch anything he has on his phone. Live scrotum piercing comes to mind.
So yeah I guess people know me. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing… eh who knows.

This saturday all the stops have been pulled and THE BIG EVENT is going off. Phoenix hasn’t seen a party the likes of this one in AGES and most likely wont again any time soon. Seriously, acts like Dj Dan, Dj Irene, Woflgang Gartner, Milo, Crackerjack, and MY DAD Doug the Soundsmith all at one party!?!?! The daw was more or less boring. This town sucks if you’re not sleeping all day and waking up just before the party. It reminds me kinda of Nogales just a lil less seedy. It dont feel very european. We did go bowling at a kinda neeto lil bowling alley where the pins are hung up on strings.. and I managed to break it somehow… got some video of that I’ll post soon.
Aside from a sweet interview for the DVD, not a whole lot to report… mostly as Im running out of time at the internet cafe I’ll be home monday night for any of you who are following this and wanted to know. I miss all of you! Click here for pictures of day four. Oh yeah, Robbie Long’s set was stunning! I will be bringing that man back to the US for another show, so keep your eyes peeled!
Day 3 was a bit less eventful. We did a lot of walking around.. had some kinda yummy food.. and then jammed out. The party was less crowded than I’d expected excpet for during Gammer’s set and Darren Styles’s set. Still had a good time and our bartender was still treating me nicely. I gave her one of the shirts with lucky on it and she totally dug it! Day 3 was her 25th bday as it happens too, so happy birthday to her!
Sunday morning saw us on the way to Sky Harbor airport to begin the first leg of our journey. Many thanks to Lindsey for taking us so early in the morning when I know you were a sleepy girl after Transformers. The boarding was quick and uneventful outside of security freaking out over all the LEDs and batteries in my carry-on. We zipped from Phoenix to Chicago to Philadelphia and I had a hard time staying awake for more than an hour on any of the flights. From Philly we flew into Barcelona. On the bus to customs we met up with some Seattle ravers who would become a recurring theme in our trip. Once through customs we met up with Sparrow and Jess, hopped a series of trains and a bus and were in Lloret de Mar. The rest of the story and more pictures after the jump. Read the complete Post.
1) No indecent exposure. No matter how nice your bobbies may be… we don’t want to see them. Anybody exposing themselves will be immediately disqualified.
2) This contest will be judged on 3 criteria. First how good you look in the bikini, second the creativity/originality of the bikini, and third how well you present yourself for the contest.
3) There will be 4 judges, Clix, Cookie, Saga, and Tommy Danger. Their votes will make up 2/3s of the voting value. The other 1/3 will be based on audience reaction. In the event of a tie, <b>BATTLE ROYALE!!!</b>
4) Each contestant will be given 15 seconds to shake what they got and generate reactions from the judges and audience. Because of this the contest will be limited to 30 contestants. Get there EARLY to sign up… slots are given on a first come first served basis.
5) Prizes are as follows: $100 cash to the winner. A free outfit from afterglow boutique for the second place winner. Free admission to PEEP THIS for third place.
Hey guys I know a lot of you are really starting to wonder where bubble bobble is gonna be… here’s the story… we are working with 2 different venues right now to get te best deal we can and provide you with the experience possible. The Bubble Bobble Event Page has been posted! Images of the flyer are in the gallery, and this event is quickly taking shape. There’s all kinds of interest out there for this party being as it’s Phoenix’s first foam party in several years and we have acts like Dj Venom and Mighty Mike Saga on the lineup. There will be a full-hour 8-bit music set by Widget Phreak and r3n2. Make sure you add the Bubble Bobble Myspace Page and the Bubble Bobble DSI (http://www.bubblebobbledsi.com) event page! The main flyers will be out very very soon! Make sure you check back here regularly for more updates!
I wish I could go more in depth with reviews, but I’ve forgotten a lot about a bunch of the parties… the pictures kinda tell the tale. Industrial Light and Magic went off wonderfully. The venue was lit up in a way that the 5th ave warehouse never has been. The music was all incredible, and all the djs/performers were absolutely amazing. There was a great response to WidgetPhreak’s set this time around. I’m seriously amazed that more Phoenix promoters haven’t been booking him. Mike Saga tore it up with the industrial that the Phoenix ravers have come to totally love him for! If you take a look at Sesso’s myspace videos you can catch some of WidgetPhreak and Mindbender as well as a few others.

The Trick or Beatz Gallery and Grave Infekted Gallery have been added. The pictures from these raves are up. I was a little on the busy side during the parties so I didnt get to do TOO much photo taking, but there are a few up.
Trick or Beatz was a GREAT party with way higher attendance than I expdected. The lasers by laserwizardy were amazing and the crowd jammed the whole night through.
Grave: Infekted was not quite as successful as most people assumed it would be. With a final turnout of about 200 or so, it was a dismal situation. The sound on the main stage left a little something to be desired, but the acts pulled through. I felt a lil sorry for Illectrolab playing to a crowd of 12 or so.
I’d be lying if I said I wasnt a little nervous for Industrial Light and Magic iss gonna be like, but you guys know me and I have YET to disappoint… so in short… it’s gonna rock the casbah!!!
Just bought the canon 15mm f/2.8 fish eye lens. With the full frame 5D mkII it is gonna produce some rad images.
