It was refreshing to be going to a party just for the sake of going for the first time in a while. Kyle dropped by to pick up Jordan, Chelsea, and myself, and off we went. Getting to the party was half of the fun. Chelsea and I were both wicked tired and ended up passing out on and off… which lead to some hilarity. It was most amusing when I woke up and realized we were in Surprise and had to turn around and get back to Grand ave. They harassed me the rest of the night about train tracks We finally got turned around and made it to the party, which is where the real fun started. Read on for photos etc:

We all paid to get in and headed into the party. I and Kyle brought backpacks full of toys to vend renegade style. We werent trying to make money or anything, just wanted to break even on what we paid to get into the party.

I didnt get a look at the timeslots to get an idea of who was playing and where, but I didnt really catch a groove at any of the stages. The track choice seemed a lil off at the center stage most of the evening and if you did start to catch a groove it was invariably thrown off. Sound on the center stage was good, but a little quiet. The thrid stage’s sound was bangin and got me moving.

I was most impressed by what looked like a 3×6 goin on with rize, starr, and sixxx. I saw 4 cdj’s, 2 turntables, and 3 mixers. Way to create excitement! I actually joined in some of the bouncyness and I always enjoy that Umbrella remix! I was hoping to hear sixxx drop “trigger hardcore” but sadly he said he didnt have it on him.

The rest of the night was spent dancing, socializing and roaming around. Kyle stopped and had a special talk with the livewire neon table, we took a bunch more photos, then we all headed out. We made a stop at Dennys on the way home, then came and crashed. So I got my rave fix, my denny’s fix, and my coziness fix all in one night… not bad… not bad…

If any of you were wondering why AZ Hookahs wasnt out… well.. he informed me that he’d told the promoters that he wouldnt show up to a party that I wasnt invited to vend at because of the arrangements we have together.
